Meet Justin

I’ve been on the tools for over 15 years now. I started out like most sparkies, crawling through ceilings and wiring up local businesses. I enjoyed the work, but I always found myself drawn to the “brain” of the operation—the complex stuff that makes things move.

That curiosity eventually took me into the industrial world. These days, I spend a lot of my time designing schematics and programming machines, solving the kind of technical puzzles that keep a business running smoothly.

I’m based in Parklands, and I started VDH Automation & Electrical because I wanted to bring that high-level industrial precision to every job I take on—whether I’m troubleshooting a production machine or helping a customer with a renovation.

For me, it’s pretty simple: I show up when I say I will, I take pride in a tidy job, and I make sure the solution we build today is going to last you for years.
When I’m not neck-deep in a control panel, you’ll probably find me around Christchurch enjoying my newly found hobby – golf.
